iPray

Our youth group, “iPray”, is for teens  13-19 years old.  We meet most Sundays from 5-7 pm at the Hope United Methodist Church.

At each meeting we play games, plan activities, talk about topics of current interest, and share a meal.  Some of the subjects we have discussed are forgiveness, parents, dating, helping others, jealousy, and self-esteem.  We have also discussed books including, “Teens are People Too”, “Soul Matters”, and “Guys are Waffles, Girls are Spaghetti”.  We are always real with each other and we become better friends as we share our joys and concerns.

In addition to our regular meetings, we go on activities like bowling, overnight retreats, skiing, serving at church dinners, pop can drives, and campfires.  One of the highlights of the 2009-2010 year was our week-long service trip to New London, Wisconsin, where we joined with teens from several states to help residents with a variety of home repair projects.

We always welcome anyone interested in attending.  We are a close group who care about each other and have fun together.
